Equipment Cost

Equipment cost, if the unit incurs one, is an expense that is added to the cost of the unit's material and labor costs. Only one Equipment Cost value can be specified for each life-cycle status.

For example, removing the pole unit PW45-5 might entail an equipment cost of $100.00. With the same settings used above, the labor cost for the unit would be calculated as follows:

1 (Removal Man-Hours for De-Energized work type) × $28 (rate for Contractor labor type) = $28.00 × 1.5 (Labor Difficulty Factor) = $42.00 + $100.00 (Removal Equipment Cost = $142.00 Removal Labor Cost per unit of measure
